1 chemin du Vieux Moulin is a modern Charentais villa
close to open countryside and vineyards. Situated on the
outskirts of the village of St Simon de Pellouaille, the house offers spacious
accommodation for up to six people in three large bedrooms (one double and two
twins).

There is a full complement of modern conveniences, including a washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave, television with DVD and video, and CD/radio with an iPod dock. For those warm summer evenings, there is a gas barbecue and afterwards you can sit out on the patio with a glass of wine to watch the sun go down over the countryside. We also make the phone available to our guests.

The kitchen has a gas cooker, combination microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher, and is fully equipped with all the china, glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils, corkscrews, etc that you will need.
For your entertainment, there is a television (French
programmes only), DVD player, video,
CD/Radio with an iPod dock and a standard 3.5mm auxiliary input socket to
connect an MP3 player or other device (you will need to provide your own
connecting lead), and a selection of CDs,
DVDs, videos, books and
games.
WiFi internet is available at no extra charge.
The house is fully double-glazed with modern PVCu
windows and benefits from electric under-floor heating.
French TV uses a slightly different technology from the UK and the rest of Europe. A UK video will play normally in a French VCR, but French videos will only play back in black & white in the UK – this applies both to anything recorded off-air and to videos bought in France.
A Sony Playstation PS2 will play through our French TV provided you connect it with a SCART lead. We have not tested any other games consoles.
